Short and Sweet: A Vibe-Based Review
Somehow, we hadn’t heard of this company prior to our booking, so we arrived at a random pub and were given a cute robot to look after whilst we waited for our GM… and then the fun started! Dr Mya Tosis was in character the entire time as he brought us into the retro-futuristic Bewilder Box universe and explained our objective of finding a missing doctor and his ultra-important research. We love an in-character host (though we appreciate it’s not for everyone!) and it really helped create and immersive experience as he stayed in character the entire time.
The set design in the room was fantastic, with great attention to detail. Every little nook and cranny was handcrafted to flesh out the world and make you forget that you’re in the attic of a pub! After taking it all in, there were plenty of novel and clever puzzles for us to whizz through. It was a great challenge, thoroughly enjoyed and we are looking forward to returning for the second Bewilder Box room as soon as we can!
