Into The Reliquary – Dark Master

It’s a race against time to find an ancient relic before The Dark Master locates it. We sent a previous party, who established a camp within the walls of a locked temple beside the Tambo river, but we’ve since lost communication with them. Your mission will be dangerous. You’ll have to explore the jungle, master puzzles, avoid traps and who knows what else. Have your wits about you with this one.

Hosting

We visited Dark Masters for the second time to take on Into The Reliquary. It was a sweltering day after but mercifully the whole building, a converted rock climbing gym, was a cool oasis. The friendly host, Fin, remembered us from a previous visit and gave us a shorter briefing, which was a nice touch. After we finished he even took the time to walk us back through the room to highlight any cool moments we’d missed and discuss all the puzzles at length. Top hosting!

Theming

Into The Reliquary is a tomb raiding adventure where our goal was to locate an ancient relic. Stepping inside was a true wow moment: sand underfoot, lush foliage, and even a working water feature. The set design was top-notch, making us feel like true Indiana Jones style explorers. The clever use of space revealed secret sections, keeping the immersion alive.

Puzzling

The puzzles leaned toward search-heavy tasks and some logic challenges. The puzzles fit the theme nicely with a particularly satisfying ancient symbol translation task. While not the most challenging room for seasoned enthusiasts, it’s a great fit for those with a few rooms under their belt. The finale came quickly (perhaps too quickly) so make sure you take your time to enjoy every feature. In short, we had a great time with Into The Reliquary and for the water feature alone we would 100% recommend it!

We’re really enjoying exploring all that Dark Master has to offer and we think you will too! Check them out here:
